I talked to John @ a month ago at the St Helena Farmer's Market, he mentioned moving into a space near Tulocay (sp?) on/near Airport Road.

re: wolfe
Hey, thanks for adding the above, here's the latest, a cheese class at the new place
Where: John Raymond's Teaching Kitchen, 388 Devlin Road, Napa 94558
When: Saturday from 11am to 1pm
Date: November 6, repeated on November 7The cost is $45 each ($35 to club members).
The price is set lowbecause the notice is so short. Try to get any class for under a $100from me in the future. I dare you. Fresh Burrata will be available for sale at the newknockdown-avoid-waste price of $14.00 a pound. And I'll be there, filling coffee cups, selling cheese and acting thelig. Other cheese, including Parmigiano Reggiano, will be available forsale.

The absquatulation has apparently been thwarted. My visit to Black Stallion found no Raymond. What says the cheese club newsletter?

re: wolfe
I signed up for the cheese club on my visit way back when, have yet to receive a newsletter or a delivery of cheese (first delivery was supposed to come in March). That said, my card hasn't been charged either, and joining the club gave me a big discount on the cheese I purchased while I was there, so I am not complaining. My sense all along was that Raymond was quite obsessed about cheese, but wasn't interested in the business end of things.

re: Mick Ruthven
That may be Mick but on another thread I note that my daughter stood in front of the GE store on Sunday and it was closed. In a neighboring store she was given a note from Raymond & Co. which stated the new address was effective yesterday. Another example of you can't always believe everything you see on the internet.
