help with San Jose wedding reception

My daughter will be getting married in San Jose this spring. She expects to have about 30 people and wants to have a reception in a private room at a restaruant. Since I have never been to San Jose, helping her find a place is a problem. Please help me help her.!

how about Sakoon in Downtown Mountain View? Very good Indian restaurant with a more trendy vibe. i hear they have banquet rooms.

Since we will have a large reception here on the East Coast this summer, keeping costs down for the wedding in San Jose would certainly help. An interesting ethnic restaurant would work well as would a brunch.

So again the same question, what's her (your?) budget? For 30 people there are plenty of options. How about a little more precise about the cost? $30 per person? $100 per person? Including drinks and tips?
