Cambridge Wine & Spirits (Fresh Pond): beware!

I've always liked this store (next to the Whole Foods on Fresh Pond) even though it's not often the cheapest around (despite the hope offered by its former name, Mall Discount Liquors). But I was astounded to buy five items there yesterday and to discover upon arriving home and checking my receipt that I had been overcharged on three of them!
Bottle of Remy Martin VSOP, on sale with sticker price $36.99, was $39.99 on my receipt. Instead of the advertised special price of $24.99 for a bottle of 1800 tequila, I was charged $28.99. And for a four-pack of Allagash, marked $8.99 on the cooler, I was charged $9.49 (plus deposit, of course). At least they got the other two bottles I bought right.
I went back today. The manager apologized and gave me back $5. Huh? Four bucks for the tequila, he explained, and a dollar back for the beer instead of 50 cents. Huh? What about the cognac? Oh, the price I was charged was the correct one, he said, but an employee had just mismarked some bottles. He seemed surprised that I wanted the $3 back for that mistake too. He did say he was sorry and thank me for pointing out their errors. Somehow I'm left feeling that's not quite good enough when you manage to overcharge on 60% of the items on a customer's bill. Buyer beware indeed!
