Italian plums - Where to find in GTA

Hello Fellow Chowhounders.

Happy Chinese New Year!

Does anyone know where I might be able to purchase Italian plums ( I believe they sometimes are called prune plums) in the GTA?

    They are in season now and you'll find them everywhere!

      Costco has big boxes of them and they are delicious! Super sweet.

        Lots of little fruit markets on Roncesvalles carry these by the basket. I'd suggest starting at Garden Street and walking north!

          I saw them this morning at Fortinos in Woodbridge - Hwy 7 & Weston Rd area.

            Check back in lateJuly/August when the Niagara crop comes in. Other varietal plums should be available at well-stocked fruit/veg stores.
