Reasonably priced good restaurant in or near Union Sq.

We will be in SF Union Sq area for 1 dinner in about 9 days without a car. We would like a reasonably priced good restaurant. Pretty flexible as far as food, could be burgers, Mexican, Italian (though we have very good Italian in Boston), etc. Any suggestions?

This question comes up a lot but off the top of my head I'd say 54 Mint or Pazzia for Italian, Tropisueño or Colibri* for Mexican and Lark Creek Steak for a fancy pants burger.

I prefer Tropisueño - Colibri has been a bit disappointing the last couple of times out for me.
