Dessert spots in L.I.C.?

Will be seeing a show this evening in L.I.C. area and wanted to know if anyone has any recs for somewhere to go for dessert later in the evening. Looking for a place to sit down, have some coffee and something sweet.

      Hi Jaleamia,

I don't know how late they're open, but I've always enjoyed the creme brulee at La Tournesol at 50-12 Vernon Boulevard in Hunters Point. Other desserts I've tried there have been decent but not as amazing as their "burnt cream." I've also had their coffee and to my recollection it is less than stellar.

Sage (again, I'm unsure of the hours) is very laid back and has pretty good basic food. It's at 26-21 Jackson Avenue in LIC and I think they have some coffee and associated sweet offerings in cases at the counter though I've never tried them.

      Good luck!

      Ciao,

Will definitely check these out. My husband's a big creme brulee fan, so La Tournesol sounds promising. Thanks so much!

De Mole in Sunnyside, not too far, has excellent coconut or orange flan, and the best mexican hot chocolate. 45th street and 48th ave corner

Manducati Rustica has gelato and some home made desserts and their coffee is quite good. There is a caffe area up front, I am sure they'd be happy to accommodate you for Dessert
