the best place to buy hamentashen in bulk?
This year our synagogue bought the hamentashen from Green and Ackermans(I think thats their name). They were horrible. Non were broken, but so many were so disfigured that we couldn't put them in our shaloch manot bags. They weren't very good either.
Anyone know of another place where we can buy various flavors of hamentashen in bulk?
We're in NJ, but since they are shipped, I don't think it matters where we get them.
of course, they must be kosher.

You may want to try Reisman's Bakery in Brooklyn, on Avenue O. I don't they have packaged goods and have a pretty decent distribution system in the NY Metro Area. I have bought from them before and they are a pleasure to deal with and their food is pretty good. Their info is 110 Avenue O Brooklyn, NY 11204 (718) 331-1975. http://www.reismansbakery.com/

Costco usually sells a few packaged brands - buy one of each and try them, then contact the maker directly to put in a bulk order. With all the gourmet cookies Trader Joe's sells, I would not be surprised if the had a good 'tash this time of year that you can sample and get maker direct if the bulk order is big enough.
