Gramercy Tavern - Recent trips to the Tavern?

Anyone have any recommendations or suggestions as of late?

I'm not a fan of the food in Gramercy Tavern's dining room. In fact, my most disappointing meal of '09 took place there. However, I really like the Tavern Room's food a lot. We've had meatball, which is always on the menu and has become something of a signature. The sweetbreads are a very good bet, they do an excellent job with fish, and the soups are always delicious. I would certainly leave room for the first-rate desserts.

I was there a few months ago and was dissapointed with the main dining room. The Tavern room has been a better experience and you can not really go wrong with much on the menu.
