Stella Doro Swiss Fudge Cookies

Has anyone seen these lately? I have tried many supermarkets (I am in Long Island/NY) and cannot seem to find them. Did the company stop making them?

Stella Doro used to manufacture out of the Bronx (near Riverdale) but as a result of a labor dispute with their workforce they closed the plant a couple of mos ago and moved to Ohio. That could be why. My parents who used to buy them for shul kiddushes stopped buying them because of the way they were bargaining with their workers, but everone has their own perspective on that issue.

they had a $2 full line sale at many grocery chains the last few weeks, so inventory may have been spotty in places, and/or store managers hid away their best sellers till the sale period was over.

A lot of grocery stores in Brooklyn carry them - try Boro Park, maybe?

My shul had some at shalosh seuda last week, and I don't think we stockpile anything, so I imagine they were bought a week or so ago. This is in Queens.
