Kevin - why go to a place so well known for many other parts of the Italian experience for pizza? Unless you just cannot do without your nightly pizza fix.
They may be good, as they might be at Pink's, but I cannot imagine ordering pizza at either.

I thought, maybe mistakenly, that Madeo was pretty decent for pretty much thin crust italian style but not so much the other dishes? So what other dishes are good here? thanks.

I have friends who go there for the pasta Bolognese. They say it is the best anywhere .

Second the Bolognese. Also, I love their vitello tonnato ( I believe this is a special, but they always have it), cotoletta alla milanese, and (when they have it) the roast veal carved tableside.

Spaghette alla bottarga is absolutely incredible here. Also, the roast veal is a wonderful, simple dish--but it'll cost you.
