Just wondering about a good place to go after a matinee performance at the Yerba Buena Center. It's to celebrate my daughters birthday, so it should be nice, but more imprtant than the atmosphere is good food. Got any suggestions? Thanks.

How old is your daughter? What kind of cuisine? Any price limitations? What day of the week?

Both Masa's and Ame are in the vicinity.

      You're right.... details....
My daughter will be 22 yrs. Unfortunately we are going on Sunday, yes Valentine's Day, so lots of places are probably booked. Still we need to try.

B Restaurant opened up on the terrace at YB Garden. Given it's literally right there it seems obvious.

Otherwise, yeah, more details like price, cuisine is a good idea.

Price? Ummm... idk. Couple hundred for 3 people including wine? Cuisine.... we love food, so it's hard to nail down a certain cuisine. I never heard of B restaurant. I'll look it up. I've heard Amber India is near there, and Ducca, but I don't know how near is near in someone else's mind. If it's raining I'll want it really "near". :-)

B Restaurant is a 2nd pace with the original in Oakland. It gets positive reviews. Check the link below. Okay the link thing is broken. Type in B Restaurant in the search.

Both Amber India and Ducca are within two blocks walking distance of the theater.

I think Ame might be even closer.

I like B Restaurant, but I think of it more as a place for apps and drinks rather than a serious meal. Although if rain is a problem, I think you can reach B by going out a covered side entrance of the theater.

Le Charm is one of the places listed in the Area Dining section on the YBCA website. They even mentioned some YBCA member discxounted meal

You also may want to try Chez Papa at the Mint Plaza across from Nordstrom.
