Cara Cara Oranges

OK I just placed my order with Pitman Davis because it is pretty difficult to find good Cara Cara's here. If you didn't get there notice and want some, this can serve as your reminder.

Does anyone have another mail order source that I should also try?

I just saw them at Costco in Oregon.

You know what? I don't care for Costco so I have not looked there. I am in the Philadelphia area and generally do not find them at the grocery story. WF has them intermittently.

Oh that's too bad they're not everywhere, Kater. The Cara Caras usually mean that the blood oranges should be rolling in soon. Maybe you'll have better luck with them.

Anyway after writing above that they're delicious this year, I'm on my second one that's not so great. Not horrible or anything but not as good as last year. Too big, too sweet, not as bursting w juice as usual. I'll be switching to some other kind of blood orange as soon as I see them.

Where is "here?" I'm in chilly Toronto and they're everywhere. I'm on my second bag just from No Frills. They're delicious this year (as always). They're always pretty big but this year seem bigger than usual . . . maybe it's my faulty memory.
