Kid-friendly in Old Montreal

upupaway Feb 11, 2010 12:05 PM

I am looking for a place with decent food to take my parents and my children (2 and 5) this Saturday evening.

My parents are not much into ethnic foods.

Budget contraints around $25 pp pre tax tip and drink.

Any recommendations?

Where did you end up going?

You could try Holder, but you might want to reserve for a Saturday night. They're pretty kid-friendly, and the food is good (at least in my experience)

Holder might be somewhat more expensive than the OP's budget of $25...how about Petit Moulinsart?

$25 pp before tax, tip and drink is perfectly doable at Holder, IIRC.

This is if you go only for a main course.

The cheapest main on the menu is 16$, most are around 20$

            Apps are around 10$

I just checked the online menu - prices have definitely gone up a bit since I was last there...you're right.
