Almond Cake failure
I baked Alice Meldrich's almond cake yesterday to great disappointment. A lot of people have commented on how wonderful it is but it was a huge failure for me. Not sure what I did wrong but it didn't set properly. The bottom and middle was very soggy and the sides had started to dry out. The taste was there but it was a real mess to look at. I even baked it for an extra 15 minutes.
Anybody else have this problem?
