Looking for a place to stop along the way or in Grinnell. Any suggestions?
The Phoenix is a wonderful place in Grinnell. I believe all organic with a middle eastern flair. Big old house.
We ate at the Tavern of Northfield a few years back while visiting colleges for our daughter and liked it very much. I like the way Northfield smells like Malto Meal.
If your tastes trend toward those Iowa endemic sandwiches (Pork tenderloin, and Maid Rite), both are found in Grinnell.
I'm pretty sure that the Maid-Rite is gone. Could be wrong.
Potato Salad, Hold the Mayo
Broken Bow, Oklahoma (Beaver's Bend State Park)....Resto recs for group of 24?
Where's a good place for Beef Ribs in Oklahoma City/OKC? Pork is everywhere, but beef is hard to find.
