Cambridge Dessert Recommendations?
Going to dinner at Hungry Mother to celebrate my wife's birthday. Would like to do dessert at a later point in the night somewhere else just for fun. Any suggestions? Doesn't have to be in Kendall necessarily. Wouldn't mind taking the T over to Harvard or Central, etc. if there's something cool/nice, etc.
Doesn't have to be fancy or romantic if it's real tasty.

Okay, it's one stop further than Cambridge on the T- Davis, namely, but I think Gargoyle's might have what you're looking for. I love one of their window tables in front for coffee and dessert, plus they have some dessert type cocktails. If only we would get some snow- it's my favorite place for blizzard watching. D'oh.

I would actually suggest Burdick's in HS if you don't mind making a little trip. Rather than overpriced (as Finale is IMHO) it definitely fits the TASTY bill. Also, there is nothing better than a delicious, decadent mug of their hot chocolate in this kind of weather!

re: Pemmican
I love Burdick's, and there are lots of delicious choices there - but be aware that it might be very hard to get a seat - people linger and you might be forced to stand or go back out into the cold w/your treats . . . Crema Cafe is very very good, too, and much bigger. Not as cute and fun as Burdick's, but much better than Finale, in my opinion. Have fun!
