Dinner Near the Wang Center...

We're open to anything, preferably something WITHOUT white linen tableclothes as we'll be going to a rock concert afterwards.

Thanks in advance!

  1. You're a block from Chinatown. Search this board for lots of suggestions.

    1. Intermission Tavern; MJ O'Connor are both reasonably priced pub-type food and Montien is decent Thai.

      1. Carneyvore's recommendations are all good options. Intermission has good burgers and homemade potato chips are served warm. If you like Thai, Montien is quite good and I especially enjoy their specials. They also have a comfortable bar. MJ O'Connors has one of my favorite sandwiches, the toasted sandy. I would also suggest Rock Bottom, even though it's a chain I've found this location to be very accomodating as far as service. I also love that they have that ice strip in the middle of the bar to keep your beer cold. On Washington St, you have Penang for Malaysian. Try the indian pancake with curry dipping sauce, it's amazing.

Great there anything in particular you suggest at Montien?

They have these curry puff appetizers that are addictive. Minced chicken, potato, curry, in mini pastries similar to turnovers. Also like the kona cups although they may only be available at dinner. I most often go for something with red curry, chicken and vegetables and have never been disappointed. Dinners ordered off the special menu have always been good. It's a nice atmosphere, although once again I prefer to eat at the bar. I don't know why, but I always feel that I can hang out and take my time when I dine at the bar.
