White City tips [London]

Need to take client for lovely but relaxed and chatty Friday working lunch...any suggestions within walking-ish distance of White City?

Me being Sarf London girl and all...

Current thoughts are Wahaca in Westfields (but don't really want the communal/overheard thing), Princess Victoria or Anglesea Arms.

I guess at a pinch he could take the Tube for a couple of stops.

Thanks.

    1. I haven't worked there since the Westfield opened, so not sure about what's in the area now. When I was there though, Albertines on Wood Lane was quite popular for your sort of purpose. Food's probably a bit better at Princess Victoria, but it's quite a trek from WC!

        1. There's nothing particularly special in Westfield. It's not bad if you're there, but hardly a destionation in itself.

Princess Victoria is really good, and I've never eaten at the Anglesea but it's a good pub and the food looks good. I'd say they're the best places in the area, but are a short trek from White City.
