Brunch suggestion for this Sunday

KathyH Feb 9, 2010 11:23 AM

Looking for a brunch spot for this Sunday VD day. Live in the Bridgewater area but would travel a bit.

Want a plated brunch, do not like buffets. Have been a couple of times to Fromagerie in Rumson for brunch so something along those lines would be great.

Any interesting suggestions?

Kathy, I just read this and thought of it for you.

I have only been here once for lunch. Great lobster quesadilla and shrimp tacos. Place is super laid back.

    Langosta Lounge in Asbury Park.

I have never had brunch here, but just a thought!

    Happy Valentine's Day!

Sounds great, love shrimp tacos and saw on their website they also have lobster rolls. Not sure if I'll feel like driving all the way down the shore. But if we don't go Sunday I will definitely keep it on the list. We are always looking for a lunch place when coming back from visiting my step daughter in Manahawkin. Be a nice place for lunch in the warm weather.

In view of your location and criteria, I recommend Equus in Bedminster. Visually beautiful, this top flight restaurant serves a wonderful brunch that is a terrific bargain for high end dining. Nice brunch menu, average entrees are in the teens.

Hope you have a wonderful brunch wherever you go.

Do not get the lobster roll at Langosta though if you go - small and little lobster.

I wonder if Trinity is open Sunday

I took another look at their menu and noticed lobster rolls were $10. I would definitely not order as at that price, I would figure very skimpy. I love lobster rolls, Maine lobster rolls. Usually am disappointed elsewhere.

Thanks, checked their website and this is exactly the type of place I am looking for. Menu looks interesting with a good choice of breakfast type items and lunch type items. I've nver been there and have it on my list of places to go one day. Maybe this Saturday.
This is the place that used to be Freddy's years ago, isn't it?
