Pre Wedding Downtown Dinner Suggestions

Hello,

I'm getting married in May, and on May 14th my fiancee and I will be hosting a pre-wedding dinner for our out of town guests. This is not a rehearsal dinner, just a dinner for 30-35 family members.

Most people will be staying downtown so we thought it would be good to stay in that area. We'd also like to be able to keep it under $3000. However, we don't know downtown restaurants all that well, and would love to get some recommendations to check out. We're open to any cuisine.

Thank you so much for any help you can give us!

Tom

Maybe look into Zucca (Patina restaurant). I did my friend's 40th birthday here - we were on a pretty limited budget and they were flexible.

If Chinese is an option, you can go to Empress Pavilion in Chinatown and have your own room and get a banquet-style menu and easily come out under $3000 with several bills to spare.

My first thought is Drago Centro, but I'm not sure whether the private room is big enough for your group. Definitely something to consider. Roy's (Hawaiian) is another option; I know they definitely have a room that would be good for your group.

          Thanks!
What a wonderful start - having looked those two up, I'm excited to give them both a sampling...
