Eating places in Shrewsbury/ Glen Rock?

Will be meeting a friend from Harrisburg on a regular basis, and I live in Baltimore, so Shrewsbury GR is half way. There is nothing, nada posted for either town on this board. Has anybody eaten at a place that is half way palatable?

"A Little Moxie" has a cute name, but no details. The Market at Shrewsbury sounds good, but is it a comfortable place to munch and talk for a while? Mignano's in Glen Rock? Any other ideas?

Thanks! I will post after we go.

    1. I don't live there but my sister lives in Shrewsbury and I visit often. If I were you, I'd go the extra few miles up to York. The options in Shrewsbury are pretty limited.

The PA Dutch Market has some good hot plate and sandwich places, and some not so good BBQ. Their hours are limited though, and Thursday-Saturday only. They do have a seating area where you could talk for awhile.

Mignano's has good pizza and subs.

Spataro's in the shopping center off Mt. Airy Road used to be pretty good but I haven't been there in years. There's a Japanese steakhouse in the same shopping center that is about like most Japanese steakhouses. Also a Chinese place in there but I've never been. Good luck!
