Cheap and good near the Troubadour?

Are there any good, inexpensive (under $10) restaurants near the Troubadour on Santa Monica?

If you are going to go early then La Conversation would work. Very close and featuring salads, sandwiches and some other offerings. Generally their prices run from around $10 to a couple of bucks over. They close at 7 PM every day but Sunday, when they go home early early (like 4 PM or so). Check to make certain of their hours before you go if you decide this is a good choice.

Bossa Nova has lunch specials for $7.50 (salads) and $8.50 (hot plate combos). The dinner prices are over $10.00.

I love the chicken express lunch and have it frequently because I work nearby.

Maybe go to the nearby Four Seasons and have some bar snacks. Valet parking might be an issue.

I doubt that it would be possible to get out of the 4S for anywhere near $10.00.

You want cheap? Go to Toi on Sunset. Definitely cheap.

Tender Greens is nearby. Inexpensive, very fresh, tasty and healthy. Nice ambiance in that WeHo location.

or pavillions on santa monica blvd. around 1/4 mile east of troub.

and i think there's a burger place on santa monica not too far away.
