Lunch in Midtown receommendations

Trying to find an intersting place for lunch or brunch on a Saturday & Sunday in Midtown since I will be going to a 2pm theater. Wide open to any food type and price is not necessarily a factor. Did not want a major 3 or four couurse meal; maybe pizza, mediterranean, a great burger, sushi, or interesting american. I appreciate your help.

You meant the Sarabeth's on CPS, and Blue Ribbon Sushi Bar & Grill (named differently from the downtown branch), right? And which Patsy's? The one on 56th?

OK, I think gutsofsteel thought you were talking about the Soho branch of Blue Ribbon Sushi and perhaps the UWS branch of Sarabeth's...

Anthos serves lunch only Monday - Friday.

                      • John's Pizza on 42nd is convenient and delicious. I think it's as good as their downtown location, but the place is more spacious.

I think John's Pizza in midtown is awful. Awful.

can you recommend another pizza place in Midtown instead?"

                                        I like Angelo's on B'way near 53rd.

I don't think the pizza at John's GV location is anything to rave about.
