Hello fellow hounders,

I'm on the hunt for frozen cherries and cherry extract . Any ideas where I can find both? I've had no luck at the Big Carrot and Whole Foods.

Thanks in advance!

Have you looked in te organic section of Loblaws? For large pails of frozen cherries:

You can buy cherry flavourngs/oils at Golda's Kitchen (retail store in Mississauga): http://kitchenware.goldaskitchen.com/search?p=Q&ts=custom&w=cherry&pw=cerry&rt=spelling&isort=score&view=list or try Scheffler’s (in the St. Lawrence Market) for cherry extract.
The Vanilla Food Company also sells cherry oil: http://www.vanillafoodcompany.ca/Lora...

Sorry if this is a dumb question but have you seen pails of frozen local cherries? In the organic section? What I get from the marketing website is that you have to freeze your own. I actually emailed them to ask/suggest they freeze the product and never heard back.

Many of the bulk stores carry cherry flavoring and extract.

Didn't see if they have extract, but Yummy Market on Dufferin between Sheppard and Finch has frozen cherries, cherry juice, etc.

This is not GTA, but if you are ever out in the Niagara region, Cherry Lane has all things locally cherry:

I love their cherry juice concentrate.

Thanks TorontoJo, I am going to make the Cranberry Walnut Scones from their website's recipe section. Also noticed they have a page listing retailers in Toronto and the GTA.
