Chinese New Year's help!

Hi and thanks for any good info in advance! I'll be in Atlanta the week of Chinese New Year's with 2 friends from Taiwan (I'm Chinese-American) and am looking for a good, authentic restaurant in which to celebrate with a delicious dinner. Doesn't need to be fancy, but okay if it is. We all really like and know food!
I've been in at ALT for 5 days every month for the last few months, and have really enjoyed the food scene. Now I hope someone will let me in on some local secrets :)
Thank you!

  1. Google "Tasty China Marietta" and "Chef Liu Buford Hwy".

Maybe "Frank Ma", although I think he is no longer associated with the restaurant that currently carries his name. He has been in and out of the restaurant business a bunch of times. Well respected, authentic Chinese food, but I think he's out of the business at the moment.

Thanks for the tips! I think Chef Liu looks the most exciting, but also the furthest. I'm excited!

Look no further than Chef Liu.

    2. They have Chinese New Year celebration, with Dragon dance and music and food at the Chinese Cultural Center in Chamblee. It's really fun and fun trying new food. Good luck though.

      1. Thanks for the replies, guys! I REALLY want to try Chef Liu after having looked into it.
