Bradley Ogden at Caesars: To Eat or Not to Eat?

atdleft Feb 7, 2010 12:17 PM

This is the question.

http://www.caesarspalace.com/casinos/...

I've been wanting to try this place for some time, but a critic's review (not good) scared me out of my December reservation for my dad's birthday. Now that my birthday is coming up and I've been hearing better reviews (including Forbes keeping them at 4 stars!), I'm wondering if I should give this place a try.

Has anyone been in Bradley Ogden lately and have something to say about the food?

Dined there in December after seeing Cher. Did the dinner/show prix fixe. Was quite happy with the food and service.

Appetizer-butternut squash soup sounds pedestrian but really brought the goods. I don't remember the details of this dish but it was excellent.

Main-pork tenderloin was fabulous. Perfectly cooked and sauced.

Service was on par with other 4-star venues in town (Aureole, Picasso)

I say give it a go. For some reason it does not get talked about much on this site. Not sure why that is.

Thanks climberdoc - you certainly know your way around the Vegas scene. I too am torn about Bradley Ogden - it's that, or Sinatra. Reading these boards is helpful but frustrating for me! Five great review and one really negative one will have me changing my mind, and trust me, I've changed it about 10 times already. But after reading your review, BO is back on. Such unfortunate initials....

If we do go I'll be sure to post my experience. Stay tuned....

Well, I can definitely tell you that Sinatra's a great spot for great Italian! If you're a steak lover, you'll love it. And even if you're not (like moi, I'm a vegetarian), there are so many delicious pastas on the menu that you'll never feel bored here.

Still, I want to try something different for my b-day and I've had my heart (and my tummy!) set on Bradley Ogden for a while now. I think I'll finally go for it this time and give this place a try for dinner.

Thanks, climber! If you and all the Urbanspoon reviews I've seen of the place are right, then maybe that December night was just an off-night. I think I'll make my birthday reservations here after all. Now I just need to figure out who to invite to go with me! :-D

We were just there in March for my husband's birthday, and it was quite honestly the best meal I have ever had.. The food was cooked perfect, tasted fabulous and the service was outstanding. I would highly recommend going there for any special occassion or a great night out.

Yes, I also ended up having a great time at Bradley Odgen. So far, it's my new favorite Las Vegas restaurant! Everything from the bleu cheese souffle to the gnocchi to the bananas foster cake was simply fabulous.
