Winery and Dining in Calaveras County

We are looking for recommendations for winery visits and dining in the Murphys area
mid week.

V's restauant in Murphys is the best!

Just tried a few places this weekend, all on Main St. in Murphys - Grounds and it's more casual sister restaurant Firewood were great. Alchemy also had some interesting options, large portions. Murphys Grille had a bit more standard fare. Aria Bakery had some pretty good baked goods.

too late, but my friend always hits the Murphy's Hotel when he's in town. Says he's always had good food there.

"When I go to Murphy's I eat at the "Murphy's Hotel" and have always had good luck. Opened in the 1860's; I have a drink at there bar which is also very cool.

Tell them not to miss the "Ironstone Winery" which is just down the road. It is a must see ! "
