looking for mutton rolls

I'm craving a snack a sri lankan co-worker once brought in to work-mutton rolls. Deep fried spring rolls with a mutton potato filling is the best way I can describe it. Anybody know where I can get my hands on these in nyc? Thanks in advance!

It's listed in Bownie's menu for $1. Call a day ahead to make sure that they'll have it for you. Many of the items on their menu need to be ordered in advance (like the various appams).

i think i had them once at New Asha restaurant on Staten Island, but that was quite a few years ago. However, that SI Sri Lankan enclave would probably be your best bet.
