A little further up the road in Ipswich, is Marty's Donuts, they open at 3am. Well worth the ride. In Andover, you're probably limited to Dunkin.

There is a small chain, Heavenly Donuts, with locations in Haverhill, Lawrence, Methuen and maybe elsewhere. Great french cruellers.

Heavenly Donuts! Merrimack Street in Methuen. Say hi to the bikers. They're really nice guys.

There's Donna's Donuts in Tewksbury on Main Street, fairly close to the Andover line. They open at 4am most days.

Based on the mention here, I tried Donna's on Thursday. Excellent donuts! In particular, the plain crullers rank up there with the best I've had lately. (Probably Jardek's & Demet's)

          Thanks for the recommendation!

Top Donut on Andover Street in Lawrence, MA makes their own and they are very good.
On par with Heavenly Donuts in Haverhill and Methuen.

Another vote for TopDonut. Not the best ever, but the best closest and I love the shiny laminated decor.

Try the apple fritters. Again not the greatest ( i like more apple chunks), but at least they have them!
