desperately searching for cheap delivery to Plateau
We like to order in once a week or so, nothing special, pizza would be ideal but anything in that kind of price range would be fine. We used to live in the delivery range of Bardeco, which is not great pizza by any stretch but it did the job just fine. We've just moved to the Plateau and ordered Amelio's last night and it was just awful. The style of pizza was not the problem, it was that the flavors were off.
Where do you order from when you want delivery in the Plateau? Help!

re: cherylmtl
I hate to admit it but for cheap pizza delivery, we usually get two medium pizzas from Domino's on Rachel. Very child-friendly which suits us here. I used to order the vegetarian pizza from Amelio's which is more expensive and has heaps of cheese. Otherwise we make pizzas from scratch with pita bread or using Jim Lahey's no-knead pizza dough recipe. You can get grocery delivery from IGA for that!

re: celfie
Sandhu has been around for as long as I can remember and they've always made great pizza. Their menu looks the same as a lot of other pizza places except for a couple of items like the Cachemire pizza. I can't really recommend anything other than their pizza, though. I find their pasta dishes to be pretty ordinary.

Sandhu's "melanzane forte" with thin slices of eggplant, ricotta, garlic and red peppers is delicious. That, the pesto chèvre and the légumes grillés are much nicer than the cliché vegetarian pizza - I hate broccoli on pizza...
They've been around for decades. Casa Nova is also run by South Asian people, but I don't know if they are relatives or associates of Sandhu, which has been around for decades.
Plateaumaman, no Domino's for me. I'd have to be quite literally starving (as in post quake Haitian people) to eat anything from them.
