Lark closed on Sundays - need VDay help!

Howdy hounds -

Finally, after a very long dry spell my partner and i secured a babysitter for valentines day. Her request was to go to Lark and Licorous which we love and suits our needs well. We love cocktails and good food that can be shared.

Well i was very sad when i realized that Lark is closed on Sundays. And now i need another plan.

I am looking for a place in Central Seattle (Capitol Hill, Downtown, Belltown) or possibly West Seattle for dinner on Valentine's Day. Yes, i know i'll need a res and hope to get one - we eat very early so hopefully that will help.

Need cocktails. Need to be able to order off a menu (not just a prix fix thing). Need really good food that can be shared.

Places i have considered include Tin Table (but worry about the food part), Quinn's, Zoe, Palace Kitchen, Spring Hill (but kind of bad service reviews on yelp), La Spiga (but think they only have a vday menu)....

Any brilliant ideas out there? BTW, i did consider A&O but have been twice and was kindof "meh" about it both times.

Thanks in advance for the ideas.

Lark is open for VD, but there's a set menu.

Thanks! I hadn't noticed the event listing. I think i will skip it given that all the things i like on the menu require a significant supplement (extra cash) in addition to the base cost. Plus looks like Licorous is still closed - sniff. So still looking for other options.

Wish i had a sitter for the champagne event on Saturday!

Aren't most places going to have a set menu for the day? I know that Poppy notified me that they still had openings but they have a set menu for the evening.

Poppy has great cocktails and the food's made for sharing, too.

Doesn't poppy always have a set menu?

Kind of. But on Valentines day they are doing a 3 course meal for 100 bucks a person. Even though their normal thalis are set, there is a lot of flexibility with the smalis and starters.
