Has anyone tried this place yet? Looking for some feedback as I will be in the Greenville/Farmville area soon.

I read about it in the Reflector, but with the Beefmastor Inn right down the road in Wilson, it's hard to see myself going. If you are in the area and want a steak, I would just go to the Beefmastor.

Is it the same format as the beefmastor?

I doubt it- the writeup in the Reflector sounded pretty generic. My point was just that if you're going to drive out to Farmville, Wilson isn't that much farther and has a standout steakhouse, which is rare for the area.

Thanks Naco. You don't have to tell me how amazing the Beefmaster is. I worked in Wilson for years. The BM possibly serves one of the best ribeye's in the world. I have former business clients from Europe, the far east, and Australia that demanded to be taken there whenever they were in town. I love the look on people's faces the first time they visit. That's almost as priceless and how amazed they are at the meal.

I still want to try Plank Road when I'm back in Greenville. I know the owner and want to patronize him as a courtesy.
