Tips for Dining, Eating, and Food Shopping in DC/Baltimore and Suburban Virginia

Lunch near Mt. Vernon

So the husband, chowpup, grandparents and I will be in DC<,as per tradtion, for Presdients' weekend. On Monday we'll go to Mt. Vernon and would like a nice lunch place enroute from DC. Any stand-out, not-to-be-missed places? Anything notable is fine.

Many Thanks,
lisa

    1. I recommend stopping in Old Town for lunch. It's about another 10 or so minutes to get to Mt. Vernon from OT.

Plus, Old Town is wonderful just to stroll around for a while. It makes for an enjoyable lunchtime visit.
