Saw this listed in The Independent. Thats something good to have in Chapel Hill (especially with all the coffee shops around). I mean there is Staam which is great but something closer to the campus was a good decision.

re: burgeoningfoodie
Stam does not make their chocolates on the premisies. It is shipped from their original store in Iowa. Of course Southern Season also sells a lot of chololate but again, not handmade by them. The only handmade chocolates that I can think are Bon Meil in Carroboro, Matthew's Chocolates in Hillsborough, and Carolina Confectionary south of Chapel Hill in Chatham County. So it's nice to finally have one in Chapel Hill. Hope they prosper.

re: bbqme
I love the Dolly Mama chocolates - they're all handmade locally, and she sells them at the Durham Farmer's Market plus a few local retailers. Really good stuff.
