need help for valentine's dinner

I'm trying to pick a valentine's dinner restaurant but my husband is 'surprising' me with show tickets whic are at Aria and we are staying at the Venetian. So i'm limited to those hotels and need to be out of dinner by 8:30 or 9:00. The reviews for Aria restaurants have been spotty on here and i hate to spend for a Picasso type evening when i'm not going to be lingering.

I saw that Restaurant Charlie has a prix fixe and that Postrio Bar and Grill is doing a Valentine's menu. Can anyone give me some guidance if Postrio is good food?

Unfortunately, I haven't had good experiences at Postrio and horrible ones at Aria. However, there are many other excellent choices at Palazzo, including Cut and Morels, and they used to have pre-theatre menus. The pre-theatre menus were posted on the hotels' websites.

Postrio is an excellent choice. Really great food and service, can't go wrong with Wolfgang Puck. Also in the Venetian is David Burke which is great and pretty reasonably priced for an upscale restaurant.
I've also heard that American Fish at ARIA is really good, just don't get the whole fish poached!
