Simple questions. Where do you find the best of the following three "parmigian" sandwiches in the City of Philadelphia?
(Also, if you care to add the non-sandwich "dish" bests. Feel free.)
I'm a big fan of the chicken parm at the Bomb Bomb (non-sandwich)
Franco Luigi's at 13th & Tasker makes a good Eggplant Parm sandwich. Haven't tried chicken or meatball, but their regular meatballs are killer, as is their gravy, so I bet they are good.
I've had excellent Meatball Parms at Chickie's Deli on Federal St in South Philly.
And, of course, Tony Luke's makes good everything. But I'm wondering what else is out there.
I strongly second Chickies. Also Shanks
I'm still looking for a good meatball parm sandwich, but for chicken or eggplant, I like Criniti's on Broad near Oregon Ave. They will do platter or sandwich.
