Looking for the best corned beef sandwiches in NYC. Prefer when the corned beef is served warm as opposed to cold. Thanks for your suggestions!
This is not going to be the traditional Jewish Delicatessen recommendation......instead, head over to a Blarney Stone for nice sandwich and a pint of beer.
I think Katz is the best of the best in NYC.
I agree with scubadoo...Katz rules. Order it fatty, though: lean is too tough and dry. And don't forget to tuck a buck in the jar for the carver.
If you're looking for pastrami, I agree with you re: Katz. But for corned beef, Carnegie Deli beats Katz hands down. Also Ben's in Queens.
Ditto. Love Katz's pastrami, but for corned beef, I'd join you at Carnegie. Don't know why, but there you are (and extra fatty is the way to go).
Pastrami Queen on Lexington about 78th.
