I'm meeting a friend tomorrow night on 9th and Irving and haven't been there for a while. Are there any new spots for a causal dinner in the vicinity?

i find chow to be kinda meh. lime tree southeast asian is good singaporean/malaysian food. san tung is extremely popular.

Have you been to Chow? Been around for a while, but it's casual and pretty good.

Define "a while". Lavash is tasty, but probably has been around about 18 months. No reports yet on the newish Perilla outpost on Irving. Went to Soi Gow on 9th a few months back...not bad but there are better Thai places in the city.
