Where should I go?

Traveling to NYC tomorrow and will be catching the hockey game at MSG before my return trip to DC via Amtrak. I have the option of grabbing a bite to eat before the game (7pm start) or just hanging out in the city and catching the 3am train back and doing a late dinner and bar somewhere. What would you do and where would you go?

Usually what I suggest to people around The Garden is head over a few avenues to Artisanal. If you are by yourself you'll feel comfortable sitting and eating at the bar (if that;s what you want to do).

how far are you willingly to travel.
sorry i dont know the area that well. but i think keens steakhouse is kind of near there. i know msg is around 34th and 8th i think. if you head east on 34th youll be bound to hit some good korean places.

Head east on 32nd st for the good Korean places. Many are open all night.
