Valentine's Day with Kids

My sister and her family are going to be in town for Valentine's Day this year. I don't want to disturb other people's romantic dinners by taking the kids to a nice dinner, but I want to do SOMETHING with them. I was thinking either brunch or an early dinner (like 5:00). I'm looking for somewhere with good food that the adults will enjoy but also with kid-friendly fare. Any suggestions?

DC, VA suburbs, or MD as far as Annapolis or Baltimore will be fine.

Thanks!

My first thought is Cafe Assorti in Arlington. It is set up as a kind of combo bakery/ restaurant. It is Kazakh. The decor is urban modern. Very nice. Stuffed breads, hearty soups, dumplings, vegetable salads. I love the piroshok, which are small yeasty rolls stuffed with minced beef, egg and scallion, or cabbage. Manti are large dumplings stuffed with meat. It is simple, homey fare.

Keeping with the combo bakery/restaurant theme is Mirage in Bailey's Crossroads. Persian, with Lebanese desserts. A pretty space with a lovely mural painted on the walls. Desserts on display are very enticing. Ask about any special stews they have that day.
