Hi,

I am planning a wedding this summer and am looking for rehearsal dinner venues in the New Hope / Lambertville area that can accomodate 60+ guests. We looked at Marsha Brown, the Stockton Inn and the Centre Bridge Inn, but all seem to have mixed to bad reviews. Can anyone suggest some good alternatives?

Thanks!

Hamilton's Grill Room in Lambertville. Outstanding byob--can accomodate up to 100 and can do some outside seating as well. Google them, --OOPS===sorry to double post

Check out the Golden Pheasant in Erwinna. The owner's personality is a little domineering, but if you can get past that, it is a beautiful space with good food. Not easily accessible though if you will any guests in a wheelchair.

Hamilton's Grill Room in Lambertville. BYOB and very solid american/med/french cooking.

My wedding shower was at the Lambertville Station. They did a beautiful job. We had about 50 guests and they gave us a gorgeous private area, food was fabulous too.

Would you consider Porterhouse Pub in Lahaska? Lahaska isn't really far from New Hope and don't let 'Pub' in the name fool you - it's not as casual as it sounds. I admit you will also see mixed reviews of this restaurant, and I moved from the area 2 yrs. ago. However, it was always one of our favorite places to go. The upstairs room really is beautiful, and would be perfect for a group your size.

After I made this post, we actually visited Black Bass and it was lovely. Unfortunately, it was booked on the date we wanted. Great recommendation, though!
