Steakhouse for Super Bowl Sunday

To celebrate my little brother's 15th birthday my family and I (party of 5) would like to go to a nice steakhouse on Sunday. If the boys could watch the super bowl, that would be a great plus, but it's not a requirement. We were thinking Keens, but I thought I'd see if we could get some other thoughts. I also thought Dylan Prime would be fun, since that's my brother's (and my boyfriend's) name. Best food is definitely key! Thanks in advance.

  1. I don't know of a good steakhouse that has televisions.

But Keen's is wonderful and I highly recommend it.

    1. I haven't been to all the major steakhouses, but I doubt any of them would have a t.v. in the dining room. Keens does have a t.v. in the bar room. We were there the Sunday of the Jets playoff game, and they had it. I'm sure they'll have the Super Bowl on, so your guys can take turns ducking out every so often to check the Bowl score.

The food at Keens is first-rate, service is excellent, and you can't beat the wonderful Old NY ambiance.

Photos of our recent meal, as well as interior shots, can be seen here:

      1. So not the best steak house but still a good meal is the grill at Angelo and Maxies on Park. Its called Maxies and has a ton of TVs and a pub/sports bar atmosphere and you can order off the steakhouse menu. Fun for the whole family.

        1. There is a relatively sizable TV at the bar of BLT Prime and about 3-4 tables in the front area that should be able to see the TV. These tables are usually for walk ins but I'm sure they can accomodate if you request them when making a reservation.

          1. None of the great steakhouses are sports would go to Keen's for top steak and hoof it home for the last half.

Let the 15 year old decide, its his birthday. Does he want a great steak and no game or a decent steak and watching the game. That will telll you what direction to take.
