Angelo's Sempre Famiglia - York Road, Warminster

On the first Tuesday of every month, Angelo's offers a pasta feast. The dinner is served family style. For $17 you get an Angelo's salad, 3 pasta selections, dessert and coffee or tea. Last night my friend and I could have invited several more people to enjoy the huge portions of pasta!

The salad was simple, fresh and outstanding. Crisp romaine, cherry tomatoes, cucumber, and red onion tossed with red wine vinegar, olive oil, salt and pepper. The bread served with the salad was average at best, but I am not a big bread eater so that was not a big deal to me.

Our pasta selections were; penne with peas, pancetta and parmesan, linguine with salmon and fettucini with bolognese. All three were delicious.

We ordered 1 each of the desserts offered. Tiramisu and a cannoli. I can't comment on the quality as we were stuffed from the entree and they were packaged to go. The remaining pasta was packaged also. I sent all the goods home with my friend.

The one thing that bothered me was the smoking permitted at the bar. We were in the dining room, but I picked up on that right away.

Overall, it was a very pleasant dining experience. Our server was knowledgeable, friendly and efficient. It wasn't crowded at all last night, but several other parties seated were definitely regulars. I plan to return again very soon. The regular menu looks fantastic.
