Bacon and avocado sandwiches in Charlotte

Does anyone remember a restaurant in Charlotte that served bacon and avocado sandwiches on toasted bread. I think there was honey mustard involved, too. This would have been in the 1980s. I'm just hankering for one but I can't remember what else was in the sandwich.

I don't know the place you are referring to but just about any sandwich place has toast, bacon and avocado and I am sure most would be pleased to fix this for you as long as you will be paying them to do so. Sounds like a very tasty sandwich and the creaminess of the avocado could allow you to forgo the mayo and thus be a bit more healthy.

      Genaro's Rotisserie & Grill
      10405 B Park Road
      Charlotte (704) 752-1987
This is a totally different sandwich, but it does meet the avocado requirement! Go check it out.

I was just introduced to Genaro's and the steak sandwich with avocado and cilantro mayo was outstanding.
