Pittsburgh juke joints?

alittleless conversation Feb 2, 2010 07:54 AM

Looking for a cool ass dive bar that isn't on the mainstream radar. Gooski's is great but a bit too crowded for my purposes, but that's the general idea. A quiet hideaway with a real jukebox, vinyl booths, dark and smoky. I'm seeking a hip place that would be perfect for a bad girl to meet up with a bad boy and slide into a booth and groove to the tunes.

A pinball machine would be icing on the cake.

    Warsaw Tavern - Polish Hill
    1054 Herron Ave.
    Pittsburgh, PA 15219

This is a great question! How about Dee's on the Southside? I'd call it "quirky".

Sound's like Kelly's in East Liberty might be a good recommendation.
