Da Luigi Roma

I have heard good things from Romans about a restaurant called Trattoria Da Luigi. Its on the Piazza Sforza in Rome. I was wondering if anyone has heard anything about it, or if they have been there. It has a mix of roman cuisine and other classics from around Italy.

Thanks in advance.

Piazza Sforza Cesarini, which is just off Corso Vittorio Emanuele. It was always very reliable and pleasant, especially outdoors on the piazza. I haven't been in eons, but someone was just talking about it the other day.

I've eaten there often, and in fact rented their apartment, above the restaurant, for a couple of weeks in 2008. It's a solid place, reasonable value, fine seafood, primarily Roman menu, with several other "influences" as well, but mostly traditional quite well-executed. In season, I've enjoyed their punterelle for instance. The patio area, especially when the weather turns warmer, is lovely, as the Piazza is quite pretty.
