Irish Breakfast at Katie's Cottage

It's odd when you walk in and see very nice dining area standing in front of a classic old Irish Pub. We sat at the bar and had some morning eye openers. A delicious Bloody Mary (which for some reason is getting hard to find). I had been craving the Irish Breakfast, so my order was immediate. I ordered it with two eggs over easy and home fries (could also order with french fries). Each were perfect. A huge portion of home fries too. It came with two nice seized pieces of Irish bacon, two sausage links and black and white pudding. My real craving was for the blood pudding. With the exception of the sausage which was a little mushy instead of crisp, everything was cooked perfectly and tasted delicious. I can tell you, there wasn't a drop of food left on my plate. My dining partner opted for the mixed grill (one egg and pork chop with the same sides), which he too said was amazing. Our Bartender, Margaret was delightful and didn't treat us any differently, even though we were the only non-regulars. The day was so enjoyable, we even made it through a good portion of the night shift. Again, the bartender Danny was gracious and highly efficient. Breakfast and another four hours of drinking cost us a whopping $65. How can you go wrong. Two guys averaging $13 an hour and full stomachs! I'll definitely be back sooner rather than later.
