I just had an excellent dinner at Sunny's Table in Concord, NH this past Friday. The chef's focus is Asian flavors with fresh local product (I don't like the term locavore, but you can call it that). I was very impressed. The food and the service was great. Just thought I'd give a shout out to a great place that could always use more business.
Good to hear. I grew up there and now live in NY. I enjoyed my meal there very much last time I was there. Really great flavors. What did you have? Also, do you know if they are sourcing their proteins from nearby as well as their veggies? I went a couple weeks after they opened and they had lots of information about their produce but little info about anything else. Glad you had a good meal.
I eat at Sunny's at least once a week, usually for lunch but at times I'll meet my wife there for dinner. The menu doesn't change too much, mainly when fresh local ingredients are available they will work them into some dishes (love the baby bok choi). They get most things, including proteins locally; at least one farm has greenhouses to grow fresh veggies off season. Service is friendly and attentive as well.
This is definitely my new favorite place to eat.
