What to serve at a Bachelorette with Pink Vodka Lemonade?
Throwing a party for a friend, making a pink vodka lemonade with mixed berries for the ladies and need ideas for small tapas that would go with this. There will be other alcohol, including wine, but this will be the "signature drink" of the night, you know, the drink that matches the event and decor....
Thanks in advance!
baby chicken soft tacos, simply garnished with a little salsa, cilantro & cabbage. baby grill cheese with tomato soup "shots". a triple creme cheese with a honey drizzle or fruit paste & almonds. individual bags of popcorn, flavored with different toppings.
you could do sliders, grilled chic burgers, bbq chicken shredded or pork.
baby reubens, potato pancakes.
Lemonade makes me think of summer, picnics/bbqs, and Southern comfort food. I'm thinking pulled pork sliders, potato salad (in endive or lettuce cups), crispy chicken fingers, cole slaw, fruit salad, boneless (or not) pork ribs, mini burgers, or mini grilled chicken sliders.
ChristinaMason posted exactly what I was thinking when I was reading the thread title!
Tiny little pulled pork po'boy sliders with coleslaw are a perfect match for the lemonade!
If the OP wants to get a little more upscale, smoked salmon or ceviche on toasts goes well with a lemoney drink.
baked brie with almonds and cherry jam or chutney
bacon wrapped around dates and broiled
figs, halved, with a blob of goat cheese and a drizzle of honey, under the broiler
new potatoes, boiled, cut in half, with a dollop of sour cream and either a sliver of smoked salmon or a sprinkle of caviar.
Mmmm... pink vodka lemonade.....
Makes me think of spicy & tropical. Along with all of the above great ideas, you could do Wasabi Lime Crab Salad in Cucumber Cups, a Black bean Tropical Fruit Queso blanco salsa, or a Warm Black bean Chipotle dip.
I love the sliders and ribs. How about lollipop some lamb chops, grill and serve with a Mint pesto. And snake bites - a shrimp that's stuffed with a slice of jalapeno, wrapped in bacon and broiled.
Vodka mixed with pink lemonade - an old friend of mine used to drink these all the time, and she called it a Fuzzy Pink Nightgown. I don't know if she made the name up or got it from a bartender somewhere.
Depending how many your guests consume - and given the bachelorette theme - you may want to drift in the direction of pigs in blankets or some other item involving little (or not so little) wieners.
