Sorry if this in the wrong place. I need help. Going to the Philippines next month and have a request for cheese....swiss, cheddar, Jack....can I travel safely with that? TSA says, yes......what say you? How to pack?
Get it vacuum packed and put it in your hold baggage. I wouldn't take the chance with a TSA agents on the ground interpretation of the rules. In general foodstuffs are risky with lots of airports not allowing any "gels or liquids" as cheese is squishy it can be thought of as a gel.
